SMYRNA — There’s a family in Smyrna that wants to make all the world a Pizza place. Or more specifically, a Laughing Pizza place.
Laughing Pizza is the name of the family-style band that consists of dad Billy, mom Lisa, and daughter Emily, 14.
Their latest CD is called “Let’s Go Play,” and their videos are featured on several PBS stations around the country, including in Atlanta. They write songs with titles like “Love Makes a Family,” “Mommy Said So,” “Candybar,” and “Don’t Cry About Stuff.” Read the rest of this entry »

Lauging Pizza – Music With A Message
I use music as a teaching tool every day with my children. We sing along to our favorite tunes as we play, learn, clean, craft, exercise and even snuggle. I love filling our home with music that inspires and educates, delights and inspires. Which is why I was excited to add Laughing Pizza’s new CD, “Let’s Go Play” to our collection!
Laughing Pizza is a Mom/Dad/Daughter musical group – all impressive musicians and delightful performers. Just as their technicolor album cover suggests, these songs will brighten your day with upbeat tunes and clever lyrics! The positive musical messages of each track are always uplifting to my family, whether we’re picking up toys or driving to swim lessons. And while my kiddos love the trendy sound of Laughing Pizza, I dig the entertaining way they present important values and lessons – everything from clean rooms to clean air, empowering children to be actively engaged in their own lives and the world around them.

We’ve been traveling a LOT the last two weeks, and here’s a quick look at a fun event we did at the Atlanta Zoo. They had a record breaking attendance at their members night, and we got to perform for a lot of old and new friends! Thanks and we’ll see you soon!
We are so pleased to announce that our new CD “Let’s Go Play!” has won a Parents’ Choice Award! The Parents’ Choice Spring 2010 Approved Award is our 7th consecutive recognition by this prestigious organization – the nation’s oldest non-profit guide to quality children’s media and toys.
Here’s what they said about the CD: “Let’s Go Play addresses many of the issues that today’s families are facing, in a pop-rock attitude reminiscent of some current ‘tween sensations such as Miley Cyrus. This rock music, however, is for the entire family. From the environmentally friendly “Take A Deep Breath” to “Let’s Go Play,” which encourages kids to put down the remote, take a break from texting, get off the computer, and get outside, this CD is full of a lot of wholesome good fun.” Click here to learn more…
